Hello,
Im happy to say that these new items have turned out how I wanted.
The corsage is hand made and stitched by myself from bits and bobs I had in my basket... you know, the place where creative cast offs go because " you might need it one day" ? Well, I did and happy that my new jewelry stands look how my brain wanted them too!
So, another craft fair item down... more to go, so cracking on!

Ive been tagged...

I have been tagged by the very lovely Magriet at Babuska Jewelry from my home town! She has put the folowing on her blog so I must conform as Im a good girl and NEVER break rules...
( yeah, right!?)

The tagging rules are as follows:

1. Link the tagger to theses rules on your blog
2. Share 7 random facts about yourself on your blog, some weird, some random
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by including links to their blogs ( I dont know 7!?)
4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blogg

So... here are my facts...
1. I was once Head Girl at my school in the New Forest.

2. I dont like bad grammar, like your, you're etc being wrong or rudeness/bad manners.

3. My favorite sandwich is ham and coleslaw.

4. My favorite place is New York ( or under my duvet, asleep and warm cause the air fare is cheaper! )

5. Im in love with Tim McGraw ( google him!) but not for his music talent.

6. My husband didnt like me when he first met me ( 15 yrs ago!) as he thought me arrogant. But we have been married over 12 years so I proved him wrong OR he put up with me...

7. If I were an inanimate object, I would be a bouncy castle... nearly always up, bouncy with people having a laugh and enjoying themselves but when Im down Im flat and no help to anyone and people dont hang around to see what the problem is.

I would like to tag... ( but I dont know 7 people!?) because they have been SO lovely and welcoming here

New For Christmas!

I have painted my little "Troika"... I have 4.
The colours were inspired by a life size one I saw in Switzerland recently, in a brocante near my Mum and Dads.
To solve a family argument, my Dad even went to see it to check it WAS blue and red, not green and it had been sold and packed.
Fortunately, my Dad new the man there and he confirmed the colours by unpacking a corner.
He said there is a new "even better" one due in. I will get some pictures.
I would spend all my money and have to pay excess baggage if I saw it, bad enough on the smaller items there!!!
Must dash, thought Id sneak something in before Heidi wakes while Corben is eating his strawberries.

Craft Forum

Hi everyone!
Just thought I would tell you of my experience with The Craft Forum... not sure if any of you are on there? Tricky to navigate I found... but...
Anyway, as im TRYING to get a group of people in my area with nice, good quality bits and pieces... I thought I would put a "post" introducing myself and adding the details of the local fair Id like to get people to do. There was no reply.
So I started a "thread" which people see easier. They all seemed a bit "clicky"... but it said to introduce yourself so I did... no response.
As I believed is to be ( as here is ) a good place to network, advertise, chat and share etc... I tried to add my website and blogg spot.
It was edited by someone.  You need to write on there 25 times before you "qualify" cause you MAY be a spammer!?
I said " oh, just trying to network, sorry... wont bother then".
I was told I must have "suspect reasons" for being there then, if I couldnt wait to write 25 times!?
HOW RUDE! What does 25 posts matter... I could "spam" after 26, if I wanted ( and knew how to and what that meant!?)
Whats the point then... how do people know who they are talking to?
Not like any lovely people here who just want to share and be honest.
Such an odd experience...
Talking of "suspect"... you should have seen the craft I DID see... HMMMM... suspect indeed!
Have y'all a lovely weekend ladies!
Im going to take my "insult" out in some "crackling"!

Taking Part in A Charity Christmas Fair

In aid of Tunbridge Wells SANDS ( still birth and neonatal death charity ) I am holding a stall at The Spa Hotel to support their Christmas Fair.
On Thursday November 13th at 7.30 to 9.30 pm.
It is the charities second year, but my first time with them and glad to say they liked my "bits and pieces" and were delighted for me to support them.
Any charity to do with babies and children in anyway, is VERY important to me as I feel SO lucky to have my happy, healthy, VERY cheeky, monkeys.
I usually support Yummy Mummy week but have been too busy this year and feel bad but have still done a bit of fund raising, thankfully.
My very old friend has a daughter, Callie, needed neonatal care when she was born due to having Cornelia De Lang syndrome. She now raises funds to support charities similar to SANDS in her local area.
We held a naming ceremony for Heidi in the summer and requested no gifts, just donations to Callie's Wish, in aid of charities for children with life threatening and life limiting illnesses.
We raised over £400 which Callies wish
donated to Julia House Hospice.
SO, for those who are miles away, please keep everything crossed for SANDS Christmas Fair and hope they raise LOTS AND LOTS!
For those who are near... I hope to see you!
Take Care and Night Night... I have things to paint and create! ( 3 fairs and counting... eeek! )

Christmas Gift Fair

Dear All,
Today, I have taken the bull by the horns and booked my local  church hall
 for a Christmas Gift Fair.
I have wanted to arrange on for some time but have not been able to find like minded people with "quality" products in my area to invite along.
Does anyone know of anyone who would be interested in having a stall
on Friday 5th December in Tunbridge Wells... up to about 1pm?
Please email me if you are interested... the stalls will be £12.
I know we are all far apart but I have not been here long
enough to know anyone in the Kent area.
Thank you for your help and Good Luck with any you guys are doing!

Maiden Voyage at Blogging!

Hello everyone!
I have found a little time today ( from where, I dont know! ) to create my blogg.
Apart from my little girl, Heidi, trying to add her random typing under my arm... I think it is OK and am pretty happy with it, but Im sure it will grow and change as time goes on... as we all do!
I must love you and leave you now, Heidi is about to do a design make over on my leather arm chair with a bright pink pen. Takes after her Mummy in the art department.

As part of my range, I buy old wooden items, such as these ladders. I have painted these with herb names for the garden.
