Back!

Hello and Happy New Year!
Im glad all that is over and can look forward to a  different 2009... fingers crossed.
Hubby has an interview Tuesday... positive thoughts please!?
Ive been working ALL the time instead... 6 days in a row at times... up at 6am, home at 7pm and sleeping in between.
My craft fairs went well before Christmas too and my new years resolution is to sew a little more as I have finally had my sewing machine fixed!
I have some pretty vintage fabrics and sweet little dress patterns... Heidi will have a Von Trapp style wardrobe before long!
I hope you are all well and keeping warm.
Looking forward to hearing of your new projects and ventures.

Hello,
Im happy to say that these new items have turned out how I wanted.
The corsage is hand made and stitched by myself from bits and bobs I had in my basket... you know, the place where creative cast offs go because " you might need it one day" ? Well, I did and happy that my new jewelry stands look how my brain wanted them too!
So, another craft fair item down... more to go, so cracking on!

Just stopping by to say "friends are important".

Phew! I thought I would drop by and say "hello"!
Have been pretty busy, working extra days as Hubby still has yet to find a new job
 (isn't redundancy "poo"!?)
and because I have signed myself up for 4 craft fairs!
EEEK!
Im painting where I can and working when i'm not and somewhere
in the middle I look after the children, eat and sleep!
Not alot of housework... that can wait for a bit!
Anyway, through ALL of this, I have met some lovely people who I can now call friends and realized the ones I had are more important to me than
I ever really thought about.
SO, Im just taking a moment to think of my friends and hoping life is just a little more easy than mine right now, for them.
Have a good week and weekend! Night Night! x
PS... I have altered the settings for my post a little, to add
a bit of "jshuz and pazaz"!

Ive been tagged...

I have been tagged by the very lovely Magriet at Babuska Jewelry from my home town! She has put the folowing on her blog so I must conform as Im a good girl and NEVER break rules...
( yeah, right!?)

The tagging rules are as follows:

1. Link the tagger to theses rules on your blog
2. Share 7 random facts about yourself on your blog, some weird, some random
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by including links to their blogs ( I dont know 7!?)
4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blogg

So... here are my facts...
1. I was once Head Girl at my school in the New Forest.

2. I dont like bad grammar, like your, you're etc being wrong or rudeness/bad manners.

3. My favorite sandwich is ham and coleslaw.

4. My favorite place is New York ( or under my duvet, asleep and warm cause the air fare is cheaper! )

5. Im in love with Tim McGraw ( google him!) but not for his music talent.

6. My husband didnt like me when he first met me ( 15 yrs ago!) as he thought me arrogant. But we have been married over 12 years so I proved him wrong OR he put up with me...

7. If I were an inanimate object, I would be a bouncy castle... nearly always up, bouncy with people having a laugh and enjoying themselves but when Im down Im flat and no help to anyone and people dont hang around to see what the problem is.

I would like to tag... ( but I dont know 7 people!?) because they have been SO lovely and welcoming here

New For Christmas!

I have painted my little "Troika"... I have 4.
The colours were inspired by a life size one I saw in Switzerland recently, in a brocante near my Mum and Dads.
To solve a family argument, my Dad even went to see it to check it WAS blue and red, not green and it had been sold and packed.
Fortunately, my Dad new the man there and he confirmed the colours by unpacking a corner.
He said there is a new "even better" one due in. I will get some pictures.
I would spend all my money and have to pay excess baggage if I saw it, bad enough on the smaller items there!!!
Must dash, thought Id sneak something in before Heidi wakes while Corben is eating his strawberries.

Craft Forum

Hi everyone!
Just thought I would tell you of my experience with The Craft Forum... not sure if any of you are on there? Tricky to navigate I found... but...
Anyway, as im TRYING to get a group of people in my area with nice, good quality bits and pieces... I thought I would put a "post" introducing myself and adding the details of the local fair Id like to get people to do. There was no reply.
So I started a "thread" which people see easier. They all seemed a bit "clicky"... but it said to introduce yourself so I did... no response.
As I believed is to be ( as here is ) a good place to network, advertise, chat and share etc... I tried to add my website and blogg spot.
It was edited by someone.  You need to write on there 25 times before you "qualify" cause you MAY be a spammer!?
I said " oh, just trying to network, sorry... wont bother then".
I was told I must have "suspect reasons" for being there then, if I couldnt wait to write 25 times!?
HOW RUDE! What does 25 posts matter... I could "spam" after 26, if I wanted ( and knew how to and what that meant!?)
Whats the point then... how do people know who they are talking to?
Not like any lovely people here who just want to share and be honest.
Such an odd experience...
Talking of "suspect"... you should have seen the craft I DID see... HMMMM... suspect indeed!
Have y'all a lovely weekend ladies!
Im going to take my "insult" out in some "crackling"!

As part of my range, I buy old wooden items, such as these ladders. I have painted these with herb names for the garden.
